Weddings

For our smaller spaces - the Mezzanine & Council Chamber - wedding bookings start from £480, making Lynton Town Hall a very special yet afforable choice!

For the Main Hall or use of the whole Town Hall, wedding bookings start from £600. Please factor in hire for any time to set up & remove decorations etc afterwards. Many couples hire from 1pm the day before & until 1pm the following day - we can provide you with a full quote for this.

A discount is available for residents with an EX35 6 postcode, just get in touch for more details.

• Catering

​

We provide the perfect venue to hire for your wedding & you then have complete flexibility to bring in whatever catering you would like, to use the Town Hall facilities. We can also provide large tables & tablecloths at a small extra charge (to cover cleaning).

 

• Wedding Music

​

For Mezzanine & Council Chamber weddings, we have speakers that you can plug your own playlist into. For ceremonies & receptions in the Main Hall, a large stage is available with full AV & lighting for a DJ or band, or you can again play music through our speakers.

• Wedding Planning 

​

We do not offer a Wedding Planning service but are here to help with any questions you might have.

• Registrar

​

Please note that although we are a Town Hall & Licensed Wedding Venue, we do NOT have a registrar here (as people often assume!). You will need to book the registrar separately - more information here.

• Booking Conditions

 

We request a 50% non-refundable deposit when you book, with the remaining balance then due 30 days before your wedding or reception. Full T&Cs can be provided when you enquire.
